A new poll shows half of Marin Municipal Water District customers believe there is plenty of water for residents, even though most fully expect another serious drought in the future. That's news water officials did not want to hear.
They say water demand is greater than the supply, although the current deficit of 3,200 acre-feet has been masked by wet conditions. An acre-foot can supply about three single-family homes with water for a year.
